A private assisted living home is a home away from home, providing a more personal, family-like atmosphere. The residents are encouraged to bring family photos, keepsakes and even their favorite furnishings to personalize their private living areas. They also have the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with staff and other residents. Family and friends are welcome to visit. If they are able, residents are encouraged to leave with them to go shopping or to enjoy other activities. Professional, certified staff is on hand seven days a week, 24 hours per day.
